Girl Scout troops 41897 & 41161 just dropped off some of the 8,000 boxes (188,160 cookies!) of Thin Mint cookies that we'll buy this year and use to make 'Scout' Mint ice cream flavor! These girls are using the money they earned from the sale to do cool stuff like take a younger troop on a wilderness skills camping trip and go to Savannah, Georgia to learn more about the history of girl scouting. We are so inspired by these girls!!
Girl Scouting has always been close to Molly’s heart. She attended Girl Scout camp for 11 years, where she learned things like first aid and cooking over a campfire. As an adult, Molly has been committed to giving back to the organization that taught her so much as a kid. She now co-leads a Seattle Brownie troop and serves as Camp Director for Glamp Weekend at Camp River Ranch in Carnation. This event gives women the chance to relive the classic camp experience with a grown-up twist (think hair-braiding while drinking wine) and proceeds go to support Camp River Ranch and camperships for hundreds of scouts.
