Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream is looking for a smart, hard-working, friendly Delivery Driver.  Molly Moon’s is an independent ice cream company creating and serving locavore ice cream and vegan sorbets from natural and organic ingredients grown in the Pacific Northwest. If you have a dependable vehicle and a desire to provide Seattle with the best ice cream the Northwest has to offer this is the job for you!

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Safely transport ice cream and ingredients company-wide as needed.

Run errands company-wide as needed. Ie. Purchasing ingredients, and kitchen and office supplies.

Maintain accurate sales, and purchase records.

Arrive to work on-time

Keep track of relevant inventory.

Communicate relevant information to delivery manager, as well as kitchen and shop managers.

Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with care. (especially in regards to heavy lifting)

Keep work areas clean, inviting and organized.

Sanitize empty tubs recovered from wholesale clients as needed.

Contribute to Molly Moon’s goals for increasing sales and creating loyal customers.

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

Clean driving record.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of Seattle streets and neighborhoods.

Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.

Ability to text and check e-mail regularly

Great communication skill and a professional, friendly attitude.

Willingness to learn about the company and the product.

Brand ambassador

Basic knowledge of apple products and Google docs.

Maintain on-call status as needed.

Delivery Driver Compensation:

$10 - $12 an hour (depending of experience and education) starting wage with incremental merit based raises

Heath insurance for those who work 25+ hour/week for 60 days

Supplemented gym membership for those who work 25+ hours/weeks for 60 days

Molly Moon's is hiring a Driver for our big, blue ice cream truck! This position is a 30 to 40 hour per week position.  The Truck Driver is responsible for the overall look, feel, and quality of the customer experience at the Molly Moon’s Truck and is expected to work 4 to 5 shifts per week as a driver/scooper. Driver must be available for weekend shifts. Truck Drivers report to the Operations Manager. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Driving & Logistical Responsibilities:

Each shift will include picking up the truck at the beginning of the day or parking and locking it for the night. The truck is parking at a location on Capitol Hill.

Each shift includes filling the truck with water, for service use.

At the beginning of each shift, stock the truck for the day with ice cream tubs, pints and ice cream sandwiches, and any other materials used for service.

Drive truck along predetermined routes and through assigned neighborhoods to arrive at scheduled destinations promptly. 

Drive the truck to scheduled events in the evenings.

Obey all traffic laws and any additional Molly Moon’s driving safety procedures.

Customer Service & Scooping Responsibilities:

Greet every customer before they make their order

Scoop scoops and make sundaes with love

Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines with care

Keep truck interior and exterior inviting and clean at all times

Wash utensils throughout your shift

Run register; follow Molly Moon’s cash handling procedures

Contribute to Molly Moon’s goals for increasing sales and creating loyal customers (i.e. ice cream addicts!)

Cash Handling/Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

Stock the truck’s register and backup bank at the beginning of each shift

Fill out till sheets at the end of each shift at the Capitol Hill shop

Truck Driver Qualifications:

Like kids, have great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude

Have retail or client/customer service experience

Be tech savvy enough to use excel, an iphone, a GPS device, a mobile credit card processor, etc.

Proven problem solving capabilities are a must!

Be over 18 in order to work some late nights. We’re on the road till 11 every night

Have a PERFECT driving record & be comfortable driving a 16’ long truck (it’s like a small FedEx truck)

Good grades and/or volunteer work or community involvement experience a huge plus

Truck Driver Compensation:

$14 an hour (depending of experience and education) starting wage with incremental merit based raises

Heath insurance for those who work 25+ hour/week for 60 days

Supplemented gym membership for those who work 25+ hours/weeks for 60 days

Molly Moon’s is an independent ice cream company creating and serving locavore ice cream and sorbets from organic and natural ingredients grown in the Pacific Northwest.  On an average day, our scoopers will be grooving to your own music while scooping up delicious gobs of salted caramel and balsamic strawberry to kids, friends & families.

Scooper Responsibilities:

Welcome every customer

Offer customers samples and menu suggestions (yes -- as many as they want!)

Scoop scoops, make sundaes and mix shakes with love

Keep cool under pressure; our shops have lines out the door most of the time!

Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines with care

Keep counter, seating, kitchen, and bathroom areas inviting and clean - (some elbow grease required!)

Wash ice cream tubs and utensils throughout your shift

Run register; follow Molly Moon’s cash handling procedures

Continually stock ice cream, sorbet and merchandise as it’s purchased

Bring music to work to contribute to the shop’s fun environment

Contribute to Molly Moon’s goals for increasing sales and creating loyal customers (i.e. ice cream addicts!)

Scooper Qualifications:

Like kids

Have great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude

Have retail or client/customer service experience

Must be willing to work at all 4 Molly Moon’s locations

Be over 18 in order to work some late nights.  We’re open till 11 every night!

Good music taste required

Good grades and/or volunteer work or community involvement experience a huge plus

Must attain King County Food Handler’s Permit within one week of starting date

Scooper Compensation:

$9.04/hour starting wage + tips with incremental, merit based raises
