so a little bird just told me that this sunday, april 12th, is national licorice day. who knew?! and, completely coincidentally (no really!) we just introduced salted black licorice ice cream. i am so weirded out by this! it's like my brain is starting to cosmically tune in to some weird sweets wavelength. come in & celebrate with a scoop!

I *love* black licorice--european and salted! And I *love* that you are opening on Capitol Hill. It's been soooo long since we had ice cream on Broadway. Thanks for coming to our rescue.
the salted licorice ice cream flavor is SO good. in fact, i'm running to the wallingford store with my co-workers right now and crossing my fingers that salted licorice is there.
I am surprised how much I loved the salted black licorce and how much I'm missing it now! Can't wait for its return. :-D
